by Day | ![]() Take a north easterly course from Peksimet Island of approximately 030°T leaving Kapýdaðý Peninsula and Tersane Island on your port hand. Once clear of Tersane Island come round to north north east on a course of approximately 010°T. This will take you clear of Yassýca Island (The Low Islands). Ahead you will see Göcek Island with its lighthouse on the eastern tip. Once this light is abeam to port come round onto a north westerly course of approximately 325°T. This course will take you through the narrows into the head of the bay. Port Göcek is the first marina in the bay on your starboard hand. You will pass our wave attenuator pontoon to starboard, which is marked by isolated danger buoys providing a clear line of approach to our fairway buoy. ![]() Assuming you are passing between the mainland and the offshore islands, you will be heading in a north north easterly direction and Port Göcek will be fine on your standard bow. You will see our wave attenuator pontoon, which is marked by isolated danger buoys. Here you should turn to port and come onto a north westerly course for our fairway buoy. At the fairway buoy you will alter course to starboard to enter the marina channel. This is marked by port and starboard channel marks. Once in the marina, our staff will be on hand to assist you and guide you to your designated berth. |

Draught | |||||
Description | 380 berths (max 45m). Marina quite expensive.
180 places on ground. |
||||
Services | Water, electricity, telephone, cable, TV, etc. | ||||
Heavy svces | Many well furnished shipchandlers. Travellift (70t), very complete equipment. | Anchorage | On the left of the pontoons, the ground comes up rapidly at less than 2m. Anchor further, on draught <4-8m or in the middle on draught <12-15m.
Situated at less than 1km of the town, it is the most crowdy of the 3 marinas. But it is quite perilous by South wind (many damaged or even sunk boats). ![]() in the bay, on the left of Skopea Marina, the draught at 50m of the beach is 2m, but goes rapidly higher at 15-20m. Good holding bottom. At 5’ from Gösek with a dinghy. Well protected. If you come in the morning, wind comes from the open sea, and everyone anchors with more or less than 30-45 m of chain. But, late in the afternoon, the wind turns and comes from the shore, so it is difficult to appreciate the good place to anchor only in looking at the orientation of boats. Anchors hold well even at the end of the season, with storms and rain. |

Various svces | The Gösek village is at 5’ walk.
The best restaurant is in the main street, on the left outside the "Khebab Hospital". Simple tables on the street but excellent cooking for quite nothing! |
Setting | The place is only at 20km from Dalaman Airport.
![]() Caunos, with tombs carved in the mountain slope, and mud baths. |
